Hi Peter,

A little over two years ago, you submitted this bug against the ldap-utils
package in Debian:

| The search is on a Windows 2003 ADS. kinit -5 whiskerp has already been
| done to ket a krb5 ticket so no further authentication is necessary.
|
| alambil:~# /usr/bin/ldapsearch -H ldap://uk-dc001.groupinfra.com/ -b "dc=groupinfra,dc=com" "(sAMAccountName=whiskerp)" mail

[...]

| request 5 done
| res_errno: 0, res_error: <>, res_matched: <>
| ldap_free_request (origid 5, msgid 5)
| ldap_free_connection
| ldap_free_connection: refcnt 1
| ldap_int_select
|
| <indefinate hang>

I just tried to reproduce this against a Windows 2003 ADS and can't. Both
the ldap-utils package in sarge and in lenny seems to work fine (that was
the easiest test system that I had available with credentials for doing
ADS searches). I think it may have since been fixed.

Are you still having this problem?
