Hey,

This is in all likelihood not fixed (I am struggling with similar
issues in freeradius, and I can guarantee the same techniques
are not working there, and we both use the Debian ltdl).  See
https://bugs.launchpad.net/openldap/+bug/90812 for more reports of it
being broken.
