Currently no one in the Debian OpenLDAP maintenance team has much time to
work on the package at all, unfortunately including this bug.  :/

GnuTLS upstream may be willing to help with this, and we'll try to
incorporate patches if you can figure out, or find others who can figure
out, what the source of the problem is.

Failing that, I'm going to try to at least package 2.4.10 before lenny, as
the bare minimum of work that OpenLDAP needs, and I'll try to look at
other bugs, but I can't promise much.  We badly need more resources
working on the OpenLDAP packages.
