Hi,

I checked with slapd 2.4.15:
foo:: IA==  leads to foo being imported with a value of " " (one blank).

This is what was explicitely requested. IA== is the base64 representation
of a space, and as of RFC 2849 "Values or distinguished names that end with
 SPACE SHOULD be base-64 encoded." which is clearly the case here ;-)

So, I think this bug can be closed.
