[Pkg-openldap-devel] Invalid credentials (49) bug?

Hello,
Debian lenny amd64.

Every time I install the slapd the password for admin generates the
following error.
I can dpkg-reconfigure slapd as many time as I want but I'm never able
to authenticate.

I was googling for this solution but I couldn't find the bug #. Is
there a workaround for this. Right now what I do is to add rootpw to
slapd.conf file manually.

ldapadd -x -W -D "cn=admin,dc=mycompany,dc=com" -f directory.ldiff
Enter LDAP Password:
ldap_bind: Invalid credentials (49)

Should I open a bug for this?
