Multiarch as a release goal means only that the package manager should
support coinstallation of packages, and the base libraries should be
migrated.  libldap is far enough up the stack that converting it to be
multiarch-friendly should not be considered serious.

Also, Goswin's bug is based on certain assumptions about the multiarch
implementation that I believe are incorrect.  I expect that once dpkg
supports multiarch, this will include support for sharing conffiles between
packages of different architectures, just as /usr/share/doc will be shared.
