Package: slapd
Version: 2.4.28-1.1
Followup-For: Bug #655845

Hi,

same problem happened for me while upgrading from Squeeze to Wheezy.
Database backup during package upgrade cannot be run because of missing
symbol error while running slapcat. I think it is because sasl2 package
was upgraded before and so symbols againts old version cannot be
resolved anymore.
I had to move /var/lib/ldap directory to another system still using
Squeeze and to run slapcat on it to be able to recover my directory.

Cheers,

Paul
