[Pkg-openldap-devel] why 2.4.31 on wheezy ?

Hi,
I don't know exactly where to ask my question. In fact, I just want to 
know when you plan to upgrade slapd package (2.4.31 is very old) ?
A lot of bugfixes have been done since this version (overlays, MDB). 
And, I am facing some issues I have to fix by hand.
Actually, is the only clean solution is to compile slapd source code ?
