So the above is what we did, but I think we inadvertently introduced a 
licensing problem by doing it. GMP in wheezy is still LGPLv3+, which is 
exactly the issue that delayed us from moving to GnuTLS 3 in the first 
place.

While this isn't a problem for openldap itself, linking libldap this way 
probably introduced a problem for anyone who runs GPLv2-only software 
(cups is the usual suspect...) linked against libldap on a wheezy system 
where they also installed this backport.

I guess the safest and least invasive solution is to switch the wheezy 
backport back to gnutls26, like the original wheezy package had.
