Control: reopen -1
Control: tag -1 - squeeze

Somehow this bug was fixed in squeeze via p-u, but never in unstable. So
while squeeze->wheezy upgrades were fixed, wheezy->jessie upgrades are
still affected, and jessie->stretch upgrades will be affected as soon as
I commit the ppolicy upgrade patch I'm working on.

Installing slapd in wheezy, removing (but not purging) it,
dist-upgrading to jessie, and then installing slapd again fails as in
the original report.

Backing up /etc/ldap/slapd.d in /var/backups/slapd-2.4.31-2+deb7u1... done.
Moving old database directories to /var/backups:
  - directory dc=example,dc=com... done.
  Loading from /var/backups/slapd-2.4.31-2+deb7u1:
  - directory dc=example,dc=com... failed.

Loading the database from the LDIF dump failed with the following
error while running slapadd:
/var/backups/slapd-2.4.31-2+deb7u1/dc=example,dc=com.ldif: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing package slapd (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
