I spand a long time to solve it... :\

sudo apt-get remove --purge slapd ldap-utils ldapscripts
sudo rm -R /var/backups/unknown-*
  sudo apt-get install slapd ldap-utils ldapscripts
sudo rm -R /var/backups/unknown-*
  sudo dpkg-reconfigure slapd

and finally it worked as expected with the configuration I desired...
