Hi,

I'm afraid this is too late for Debian 11 (bullseye). We could look at 
enabling it for Debian 12 (bookworm).

Why does the new version of sssd require this? Can it not remain 
optional on their side, if it was in the past?

previous request about LDAP_CONNECTIONLESS. As far as I know the 
upstream status hasn't changed...
