[Pkg-openssl-devel] Bug#402870: openssl: option -out does not recognize de facto STDOUT marker '-'

Package: openssl
Version: 0.9.8c-4
Severity: normal

Consider this:

   openssl enc -rc4 -d -salt -pass "pass:$pass" -in $file -out $out

When the parameter:

    out="-"

The openssl treat this as plain filename, a dash(-).

SUGGESTION

Treat output filename dash(-) as STDOUT marker and write the content as is, not in disk.
