Package: libssl0.9.8
Version: 0.9.8g-15+lenny1
Followup-For: Bug #532059
I have this too, but I found an answer here:
http://www.openssl.org/support/faq.html#PROG14
libcrypto is using the uninitialised data as an entropy source.
It seems a "-DPURIFY" verion of libcrypto is needed for silent operation
with valgrind.
