Package: openssl
Version: 1.0.1-4
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

PEAP authentication through wpa_supplicant fails after upgrading to openssl 1.0.1. The issue seems to be that the RADIUS server is rejecting the hello. Downgrading to openssl 1.0.0h-1 fixes the problem.

The relevant section of the logs appears to be the following: http://pastebin.com/inHSLZLh

This appears to be related to the following bugs: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wpasupplicant/+bug/969343 and https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1081838

I'm using a Lenovo X220 with an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205, using the iwlwifi driver.

I'll try to attach a complete log file and a packet trace. Please let me know if you need any more information.
