I do keep the security archive in my `sources.list' file so this latest 
version is
the one that is installed currently:

dpkg -l | grep openssl
ii  openssl                     0.9.8o-4squeeze12           Secure 
Socket Layer (SSL) binary and related cryptographic tools
ii  openssl-blacklist           0.5-2                       list of 
blacklisted OpenSSL RSA keys
