[Pkg-openssl-devel] Bug#677468: libssl1.0.0:i386: execmod failure in libcrypto.so.1.0.0 apparently at CRYPTO_get_new_lockid

Package: libssl1.0.0
Version: 1.0.1c-3
Severity: important

eu-findtextrel /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/i686/cmov/libcrypto.so.1.0.0
the file containing the function 'CRYPTO_get_new_lockid' might not be compiled
with -fpic/-fPIC

libcrypto has an execmod failure. This means that SE Linux policy needs to
give it more privileges than is desired, the above eu-findtextrel command
demonstrates it (although eu-findtextrel sometimes accuses the wrong
function).
