How is apache related?
Can you try
export OPENSSL_ia32cap=~0x200000200000000
And then try again?
There are already a few other bug reports open about such issues, but we can't reproduce them.
Are those public servers we can try and connect to?

OTRS we have the same problems

The servers are productive systems in our company, so it's not possible to connect.
