Hi Kurt,

Unfortunately the version you release (1.0.1i-1) doesn't contain the code patches
that enable ppc64el. So, it continue to FTBFS in ppc64el.

In order to have Openssl compiled properly in ppc64el, Openssl needs to have the
committed patches in the code. (version 1.0.1i doesn't have it yet). The patches
were already committed to Openssl code, but, not released into 1.0.1i.

The 6 required patches are listed in the bug description, and there were a
backport for 1.0.1g. If you want, I would work to backport it to 1.0.1g.
