I have just implemented this feature and magically backported
it to your installed version of dvdisaster ;-)
Please open the Preferences dialog, go to the "Drive" tab and
check "Media ejection / Eject medium after sucessful read".
This will automatically eject the medium after scanning or
reading it (if not, your GUI might be blocking the drive by
a popup window - tell the GUI not to automatically manage
removeable media if this happens to you).
