It also stops again every time the version string on the remote server
changes (i.e. even with security patches). I fear the error message is
easy to miss if you don't expect it, ultimately leading to data loss
when data is not synced. Thus raising the severity.

I think it's more a pitch of the owncloud developers for their own
product, but I'm not sure how to properly deal with that either.
A seperately packaged nextcloud client won't make it for Buster.
