[Pkg-owncloud-maintainers] ownCloud client 2.6.x

Good afternoon!

I am looking for an updated version of the owncloud-client package for
Debian. Unfortunately, it seems that there is nothing recent available in
Debian. Is there any reason (other than workload/lack of time/people/etc.)
the updated version of client is no longer maintained?

I have tried to build the package myself but failed - I am not experienced
enough to do so... I know that there are some community based binary
packages available at download.opensuse.org, but I am usually afraid of
installing such packages; I try to either use vendor packages or distro
packages.

Thanks for all the work you did on the client package so far!
