[Pkg-owncloud-maintainers] TLS Initialization failed

Hi List,

Hope you're doing all well.

I encounter the same issue as Benoit Panizzon does.

I mean that, since I've upgraded to Debian 12, the client rejects every
Nextcloud server I try to connect with the reason : "TLS initialization
failed".

It looks that there is a conflict between the QT SSL version and
nextcloud client : when I run "nextcloud -v", it returns :

*qt.network.ssl: Incompatible version of OpenSSL (built with OpenSSL >=
3.x, runtime version is < 3.x)*

Does anyone manage to work around this issue ? My setup is quite simple
except that I come from a previous version of debian.

Many thanks in advance.

More info :

---

I checked my server cert and the server supports TLS v1.3
<https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=cloud.artifaille.fr>

Recently upgraded from Debian 11 to Debian 12

Full "nextcloud -v" :

qt.network.ssl: Incompatible version of OpenSSL (built with OpenSSL >=
3.x, runtime version is < 3.x)
Nextcloud version 3.7.3git
Using Qt 5.15.8, built against Qt 5.15.8
Using Qt platform plugin 'xcb'
Using ''
Running on Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm), x86_64
