Package: nextcloud-desktop-cmd
Version: 3.7.3-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

when synchronizing files stored in nextcloud with special symbols like
':' nextcloudcmd fails (in contrast to the GUI client). The error
message is:

File names containing the character ":" are not supported on this file system.

This is caused by wrong detection of server version leading the cmd
client to the assumption of a very old server version and taking a
compiled in default list of "forbitten" characters.

A patch for fixing the server version detection in the cmd client was
successfully merged in the upstream version:

https://github.com/nextcloud/desktop/pull/6016

Please consider cherry-picking this patch to restore full
synchronization support in the cmd client for bookworm. The older
client provided with bullseye did not have this issue.

Best regards,

Patrick Cernko
