Yes, we are already handling this, but there are many TODO items still open.
We have actually just formed the "ownCloud for Debian" team [1], you are
very welcome to join.  We aim to package owncloud first, then the client
and maybe some useful apps (and also attract other users/devs to join
in).  For the git repos, see [2].
