as you probably know: I want OC4 in wheezy! ;-)
And that's gone be a tough task - as you might know - the NEW queue will stop processing after May 20th!
Currently we have two unresolved dependencies:
An initial package has been uploaded to mentors .
Thomas Goirand volunteered to sponsor/maintain.
Unfortunately Thomas didn't react to my mails in the past days.
Thomas Goirand is working on that as well. And there is still an unresolved
licensing issue with one of it's dependencies (xml_dtd).
@Thomas: Are you there? ;-)
How do we proceed?
For sabredav we have two options:
1.) keep it within the owncloud package as 3rdparty - just like *still* some other
2.) we push sabredav ourself
For mdb2_schema we actually have only the option to keep it in the package for now.
Afaik the licensing issue will not hit us, because xml_dtd is not required with owncloud.
Can someone please double check? THX
Finally we have copyright issue with
@Paul: You found a package within sid, which has this file already. collabtiv?
How did they solve that issue?
Maybe we just repack, remove the whole openid app and we are fine for the very first upload.
Well after some testing of course and after release of OC4 (might be postponed due to some critical bugs with IE).
This bring me the to last open issue:
Can/shall we upload the current version 4.0.0~rc?
Can we push 4.0.0 after May 20th (once we successfully passed NEW queue)?
Thanks a lot for now - I'm looking forward to your feedback and ideas on how to solve the issues above.
In additon I'd like to thank you on supporting me with this package.
