I just pushed on people.d.o the current owncloud packages and some
needed dependencies currently sitting in NEW:

You can build them directly out of the Git repositories:

Thanks in advance for your testing and feedback (and fixes). I may
update #691839 with those data in case of positive feedback (or lack
thereof) to hopefully get some testing.

The NEWS file needs additional data to give advices for other more usual
configurations, and its content should probably move to README.Debian
under a new “Upgrade” section.
