So it's more likely a php problem? But isn't it so that the queries are constructed by the app and not by the mdb2 framework?

Although shipping the upstram mdb2 package might be possible, I'm not sure if that would violate the policy?

I downgraded to 5.0.8 in the meanwhile and OwnCloud works again (well, it doesn't run the upgrade scripts of course ;).

I'm no PHP guy so I can't argue here what this kind of migration means for OC...

... but I'm a PostgreSQL guy, more than a MySQL one. So I would prefer to keep PostgreSQL support, of course... ;-)

I can only offer to test packages and try to work on the SQL queries for PostgreSQL...
