That’s true, and it has thus been removed from the set of applications
provided with the main distribution (as the music player). After a quick
overlook at the commits [1] and bug reports [2], it doesn’t seem like
there is much interest in this application currently, so I’m not sure
its status will change in a foreseeable future.

I’ve not been able to notice such an issue with the Debian package, have
you? (Please note that all the application menu moved on the left row,
including the link to the management at the bottom of it.)

I can’t reproduce such an issue with the Debian package (the
documentation application works), can you?

Do you have pointers to more detailed (upstream) reports about these
issues? Besides the example set created for new users on their first
login if they didn’t have any data, I’ve not witnessed any folder
created upon login, so I’m not sure to understand what you are referring
too.
