Hi Luca,

Thanks for your quick follow up.

Sorry. I didn’t try and use this application, but maybe “just” setting
up a cronjob or an event based trigger to hook some clamav scan is
something that {is already, could be} documented in the mean time.

I’ll keep in mind to double check that’s still fine on upgrade from the
owncloud 5 Debian package before the next owncloud 6 upload.

Testing this application is currently part of the “must do” before
uploading a new package (given it required quite some effort to make it
work in the first place with regenerated JS at build time, and also
because this application is activated by default on first install), so
rest assured it’s being tested. Of course, what works for me in my test
and production environments may fail elsewhere, so do not hesitate to
bug us if your experience differs.

Thanks for confirming that’s “just” about examples. We may patch it if
that’s really boring (and propose to include such patch upstream), I’m
just not {sure, convinced} it’s worth it. We may also just deactivate
this feature if needed, I don’t really have (yet) an opinion myself
about it (we added the PDF build in owncloud-doc to keep the Debian
package feature equivalent to upstream, but that’s the only effort we
did for those examples so far).

Thanks for making it explicit.
