well it is qt4 for the package in sid. But qt is only a C++ framework in which 
the client is written, so there is no way to install the client without qt.

And why you say it is unexpected?

Well the dependencies are created automatically with looking at ldd. So I see 
no way to "shrink" the dependencies.
