TBH, I’m much more interested into getting rid of this temporary dump of
(packages depending on) packages not yet processed from NEW than
maintaining this workaround (or increase the workload for it).

I wouldn’t advise using an alpha version for anything else than testing,
but about the “big [
] list of sources”, I can only hope that NEW
processing will soon affect the stuff we are waiting for, so this
additional temporary repository can be removed from your sources.list ;).

I assume FTPmasters would welcome peer reviewing of any package currently
in NEW in order to help them process the current all-time-record queue
length.
