At the moment, they have to be, or else Rakudo can't build any PMCs that
inherit from Parrot PMCs. But yes, the long-term solution is to use a
different serialization format. This is not a small change, is not
"patchable", and won't happen soon. Since the fix Rakudo really needs is
to have the files rebuilt in Perl 5.12, and since this will happen
anyway when the Parrot 3.6 packages are uploaded, I'll go ahead with the
3.6 packages.
