Indeed, the localization fix has copy paste from the other patch. Please
feel free to fix or I can push a fix

I'll see what we can do there, but I'd prefer to use multiple
directories as in other tools (/usr/share:/usr/local/share:...)

I trust the user patch, I do have a very old sparc machine, but it takes
me quite long time to build fpc (5h) and I could not afford that for
now. Anyway the patch comes from upstream and I think it is safe to take
it.

I use vi ;) and update the date manually. I was doing this for few years
but I can see that this is not safe. I'll have a try for dch.
