I will try to look at it this weekend.

Just for the record: I state again that I don't like the fact that for
every release we go through NEW. I believe this 1.1.99 is meant as a
pre-release of 1.2, so I would rather have the Debian package number
(not Lazarus itself of course) marked as such. I just think we create
too many packages with fpc and lazarus over time.
