[Pkg-pascal-devel] are we waiting on each other?

Hi Abou,
Just checking, are you waiting for me to do something? I thought I was
still waiting for your response before any action, but maybe you
are/were waiting for me? I rather get the cge/view3dscene issue fixed soon.
Anyways, with respect to your latest commit (9727e5) to view3dscene: I
hate to say it, but I think I don't agree with your solution. If I
understand your remark correctly this patch could be avoided by adding a
dependency on cge? Then just do that, adding this patch is prone to
neglect in the maintenance. You (and I) will forget to update this patch
every time that cge is updated. Also, what happens if cge is updated,
but view3dscene doesn't need update except for this patch, e.g. to fix a
FTBFS? Really, if the source is in cge, just depend on it, or properly
fix view3dscene to not need this source (but that should then be
acceptable upstream as well.
Another remark, I think your reassignment of 748789 is not correct. The
FTBFS is in the package view3scene. It might be caused by a bug
somewhere else (which warrants an other (blocking?) bug) but it is still
view3scene that fails. As a result of your reassignment, fpc will be
autoremoved from testing including all dependencies (unless you think
this bug in fpc is really "serious", than it matches). While I think
only view3scene should be removed if we don't fix it in time.
