Never mind, not looking well. I was thinking fpc, but the issue was with
lazarus. Abou, do you know if lazarus allows to retrieve the version
number from command line?
I see lazbuild -v could be used for this, but that includes the Debian
revision as well. Maybe ok, but also easy to strip. Also "lazarus-ide
-v" is supposed to show the version, but it does not exit (as the help
says; I should file a bug about that.).
