I just pushed my proposed changes. The changes related to gnome1/gtk1
are in commit c5355796.

I saw it, but I didn't see any response. What I propose to do is the
following. As the only way to keep the file is if it is accepted as a
non-licensed header file (Abou's theory), it doesn't really require to
be documented in the d/copyright file. However, I don't want to hide
anything, so we will mention the file's license header and describe what
we think of the situation, such that the ftp-masters can take it from there.

Anyone up to adapting d/copyright with some good information? I can
probably do it somewhere this weekend and then we can upload the current
1.4.0 package to experimental (to pass the NEW queue).

Paul
