I don't think so because the directory isn't empty then. And doing rm -r
feels uncomfortable, especially if something goes wrong somewhere and
dpkg tries to roll back (which it than can't).

Anyways, lazarus 1.4.4 is just building here. I hope to send it to NEW
(experimental) today, let's see how fast the ftp-masters are. Than this
discussion isn't even needed.
