And the good news is that it was fixed quickly by Jonas Maebe, things
should work Ok with FPC 3.0.1 now. I guess the remaining questions are:

- is it enough to apply only the related revision (
http://svn.freepascal.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi?view=revision&revision=33046 )
to FPC 3.0.0 to make it fixed in powerpc64? Or will more revisions from
3.0.1 are needed?

- what about powerpc (since the fix only affects powerpc64, but we
observed the same problem on powerpc).
