From a pure technical point of view, a user shall not need to install fp-
utils:arm or fp-ide:armel on a amd64 host as these tools are/shall be
architecture agnostic.
This means that one is granted that tools pulled by fp-utils:amd64 allow doing
the work for arm* using the amd64 binaries on the host.
Now for fp-compiler, there is a slight difference. I do expect that "aptitude
install fp-compiler:armel" pulls the compiler binary of armel so that one can
use qemu for cross compiling.
I do intend to extend fpc executable to use qemu to run other processors
compilers as a kind of cross compiler. Another way to do it is to ship a true
cross compiler.
However for now I don't intend to bother too much with that, I intend first to
solver the units co-install ability first then come to the big issue of cross
compiler.
