RT members are not actively looking for such leaf packages. Worse case,
packages are just removed. Mind you, there is a reverse dependency:
view3dscene, so, either make sure it works, or upgrade it too.

I'll not stand in the way, but you don't have my permission ;) If stuff
isn't working, we'll remove it (so better test in experimental first).
I'll push what I have locally now (I got a few steps further with the
help of Michalis).
