That is not a problem, we can always cherry-pick the patch fixing this and push
it in a new upload. Many bugs where fixed that way in the past.

I think the main reason is that Lazarus builds using Debian FPC package, so all
RTL units are compiled with -Cg while in your case you are using a non Debian
FPC binary which chips RTL without -Cg. Then a conflict may cause your issues.
