While this doesn't answer your exact question (I'll let others on the
list answer about who's working and has access to Debian packaging of
view3dscene), as an upstream of view3dscene and castle-game-engine I
offer my help :) If there are any issues where I can help or provide
info, to help solving the RC bugs, let me know (on this list is fine,
I do monitor pkg-pascal-devel).
