Hi Bas,

I can see that the terminology can be confusing. Lazarus does fail to 
build from the IDE, so there is indeed a bug.

However the source package does build using debuild, sbuild etc, so it 
is not an ftbfs.
(If it were ftbfs, there would be any IDE to launch and attempt the 
rebuild.)
Perhaps I could put it another way; It compiles, but does not REcompile 
via the IDE.

Agreed there is a problem, and it is Debian specific, so I have tagged 
it 'Confirmed'.
