Hi Paul,
The issue is not intermittent.
chm files built with fpc <= debian version 50 contain random data.
To fix the big red BAD in the Lazarus Rep column here

lazarus-doc-4.8 needs to be rebuilt with fpc >= 3.2.2+dfsg-51
I was hoping to achieve this without uploading another lazarus version,
as nothing in lazarus itself needs to change in order to fix this.
