The current maintainer of libxml-sax-writer-perl, Michael K. Edwards,
has this package up for adoption. If you want to be the new maintainer,
please get in contact with the maintainer first. Note: the correct current
Email address is m.k.edwards@gmail.com, the @sane.net one doesn't work
anymore.

It might be a good idea if the PERL group would be interested in adopting this

Description: Perl module for a SAX2 XML writer
This module helps serialize SAX2 representations of XML documents to
strings, files, and other flat representations. It handles charset
encodings, XML escaping conventions, and so forth. It is still
considered alpha, although it has been put to limited use in settings
such as XML::LibXML and the AxKit XML Application Server.
