Package: libhtml-clean-perl
Version: 0.8-4
Followup-For: Bug #282503

Dear Satya,

There is no quick fix to resolve this issue. Also, this bug is documented upstream:

http://rt.cpan.org/NoAuth/Bug.html?id=6772

Please ask the upstream author for a fix.

In the meantime you could apply this patch locally to avoid any whitespace from being stripped.
