Joining the pkg-perl Alioth project; adopting libmail-spf-query-perl

Hi all,
I have been lurking on the debian-perl and pkg-perl-maintainers lists for a
few months. Now I would like to join the pkg-perl Alioth project and help
maintain a few Perl packages. I am not a DD, but I have been maintaining
several Perl packages for my personal use that are on CPAN but not in
Debian, some of which I should probably contribute.
My Alioth username is "jmehnle-guest". Could one of the project admins
please add me to the project?
I am also a participant in the SPF project[1], and so I'd like to start my
pkg-perl work by adopting the libmail-spf-query-perl package, which has
recently been orphaned (sort of) by its former maintainer, Chip Salzenberg
[2].
Chip also wrote to me:

So adopting the package should be fine.
A new release of Mail::SPF::Query is coming up soon, too. It will resolve
some of the bugs listed in the Debian bug tracker[5].
M:S:Q has its own Subversion repository[6] so it shouldn't be necessary to
add it to the pkg-perl repo, right?
Julian.
