The problem is a __DIE__ signal triggering from an eval() block in
WWW::Mechanize and killing the test HTTP server. It surfaced with
libwww-mechanize-perl 1.30, which was uploaded recently.
There's a patch in rt.cpan.org #26602; the bug is fixed in upstream 1.14
which builds OK for me.
